Future looks bright for Nutrien Ag Solutions Livestock Trainee Graduates

The Landfall Spring Bull Sale in Launceston, Tasmania was made even more memorable for 10 of Nutrien Ag Solutions up-and-coming Livestock Agents, with their graduation from the Livestock Trainee Program.

Ned Balharrie, Livestock Trainee Graduate Ballarat Nutrien Ag Solutions said “graduating at the Landfall Sale is the perfect example of the exposure you get through completing the Livestock Trainee Program

Having spent two years in the program, Ned said he joined the program to improve his skill set and become a well-rounded livestock agent “the networking and opportunities to see different parts and Australia and agriculture has been the most beneficial part of the program. It’s connections I wouldn’t have been able to make without it.

Adam Mountjoy, Southeast Region Livestock Lead Nutrien Ag Solutions, remarked the important role the program plays in upskilling the next generation.

“We’re fortunate to have a great calibre of talent coming through the livestock industry, and we know, we need to nurture and support that for the sustainability of the industry

“We’ve opened applications for our 2023 Livestock Trainee Program, and I would encourage anyone with a passion and interest for the industry to look into it. It’s a brilliant program.
